Bhubaneswar : Kalinga Institute of Social Science (KISS) started their campaign by winning the junior girls title in the inaugural day of the four day long All Odisha Inter-districts Rugby 7’s 9th Junior (boys and girls) and 11th Senior (men’s and women’s) Championship at KIIT University Ground here on Monday.
All together 10 teams participated in the junior girls category, in the final today, KISS edged out Jagatsinghpur KISS team by 30-0 and emerged champion. Keonjhar finished third by winning over Mayurbhanja by 20-10.
The Senior women teams matches will be held tomorrow. Odisha Rugby Football Association Secretary U K Mohanty and Coach Dhiren Kumar Rout gave away the prizes as the guests of the closing ceremony.
