Diverseus Society Trust Empowers Speech and Hearing-Impaired Youth in Odisha

Bhubaneswar : Diverseus Society Trust, the social impact arm of Diverseus Resources Private Limited, successfully conducted a “Skill Mapping and Training” program for Speech and Hearing Impaired (SHI) candidates in collaboration with the Odisha Academy for Disability (OAD) today. This initiative aims to equip SHI individuals with vital skills and career opportunities, promoting inclusivity and diversity in the workforce.

The program focused on skilling and upskilling candidates, preparing them for sustainable careers in the corporate sector. One of the key highlights was the “BPCL Silent Voices” program, which specifically trains SHI candidates for roles at BPCL petrol pumps. Through this program, a young woman has already been placed at the BPCL Vani Vihar retail outlet, demonstrating the program’s success.
