In the 33rd minute, OFC showed no hesitation in directing a brilliant curler from the left tight angle and put the visitors in front, as the goal came from a wonderous strike from Isak Vanlalruatfela. But, in the 45th minute, HFC equalized it as Nim Dorjee manage to dink the ball into the box.
In the 62nd minute, Josep Gombau made two consecutive substitutions as he brought Jerry Mawihmingthanga and Lalruatthara for Isak Vanlalruatfela and Denechandra Meitei.
OFC had taken the lead again in the 72nd minute of the game when Nandha’s attempted shot was deflected off the HFC defender into the back of the net.
The Eastern Dragons earned three points for Diego Mauricio’s perseverance in the death minutes. He got a lobbed ball in the front. The forward chests it down on the right side, flicks from a very narrowed angle, and beats the keeper. He got a good curl on the ball as it found its way to the back of the net.
