Odisha Government to Introduce Spoken English from Class-I in Government Schools
Bhubaneswar: In a significant move, the Odisha Government has decided to introduce English in Class I in Government run schools from the up coming session.
School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash on Saturday, informed about the Government’s decision.
Speaking to media, Dash said, “We have decided to introduce spoken English for students from Class-I to improve their communication skills. Initially, it will be introduced at 101 schools across 30 districts”.
